Nigerian face model with tribal marks, featured on BBC after Rihanna followed her

The Nigerian model with tribal marks, who has been campaigning to get through to Rihanna after almost a month now, has finally gotten a response from the super star.

The model, Adetutu from Eruwa, Oyo State, and mom from Ondo State, earlier today shared a campaign tweet begging Nigerians to help make the tweet get to Rihanna, saying, she has tribal marks and wants to model for the super star.

The Nigerian model with tribal marks, who has been campaigning to get through to Rihanna after almost a month now, has finally gotten a response from the super star.

The model, Adetutu from Eruwa, Oyo State, and mom from Ondo State, earlier today shared a campaign tweet begging Nigerians to help make the tweet get to Rihanna, saying, she has tribal marks and wants to model for the super star.

I have been doing this campaign to get through @rihanna on all my social media handle… Yeah.. I have tribal marks and want to model for her. I need my Nigerian peeps to help get through to her. Please

It’s not easy growing up with Tribal marks…. The bullying was much though it hasn’t stopped yet… I still get insulted whenever I go out. I want to thrive in what was meant to make me feel bad… I want to model for @rihanna . It will be a dream come true.”

Now that her request have been answered, the model was followed by Rihanna, and she took time to thank those who helped her in the campaign

Adetutu, identified better as the ‘Nigerian model with tribal marks’ was recently featured on BBC Africa and that’s certainly a big one for the Fast-Rising model.

Speaking to BBC Africa, the single mother introduced herself,

“My name is Adetutu, A single mum, face model with tribal marks, Oh, and Rihanna followed me on Instagram, people were telling me ‘Rihanna follows you as well’ I said no, show me, prove it’, I’ve always been a fan of Rihanna, I did a photoshoot I just posted it on my social media handles, Nigerians and other countries took it up until she followed me, well I was very happy… ” Adetutu told BBC.

Adetutu went viral after her post about her desire to work with Rihanna became a trend and she was noticed by the pop singer, who then started following her on Instagram, ever since, her life has never remained the same.
